The Future is Not a Script—t’s a Shadow. Most people come to my table asking, "What is going to happen?" as if the future is a movie already filmed and I’m just leaking the spoilers. But that’s not how this works. If you want a robotic "yes or no," go ask an algorithm. If you want the truth, you have to look at the shadow. To me, Tarot isn't a crystal ball; it’s a mirror held up to your subconscious mind. Everything you’ve repressed, every fear you’ve fed, and every silent ambition you’ve tucked away—it all casts a shadow. That shadow is what eventually manifests as your "destiny." When I lay the cards down, I’m simply reading the blueprint that your own mind has already drawn. The "Goat and the Grass" Reality I often tell my clients: If a goat makes friends with the grass, he’s going to go hungry. In the same way, if you make friends with your excuses or wait for "the stars to align" without moving a muscle, the most beautiful Tarot reading in the world won't save you. The cards might show a path of gold, but if you choose to sit on the curb, you aren’t going anywhere. The Present is the Pivot The future is heavy, yes. It has weight. But your present actions are the only things that can shift that weight. • The cards show a breakup? That’s the shadow of current toxicity. Change the dynamic now, and the shadow moves. • The cards show a financial windfall? That’s the shadow of an opportunity you’re currently ignoring. Seize it now, and the outcome changes.
